Carlos J.D. Matias is the CEO and President of Airfree Produtos Electronicos S.A. - Lisbon, Portugal.
He was born in Lisbon, Portugal and studied Architecture at the Mackenzie University in São Paulo, Brazil.
Founder/Shareholder of 32 companies in 6 countries, including the Brazilian Chamber of Containers that held an active part in the Brazilian Container Legislation,
He developed:
* container terminals and first São Paulo inland container station
* anti-theft container systems
* world’s first container shipments in bags and bulk.
* coffee container stuffing terminals
* air cushion coffee bulk loading machines
He also developed & patented:
* Scandibag Liners (used by 90% in bulk coffee shipments in containers worldwide)
* Liquibag - liquid transporting bags with multiple uses that can release water in case of wild fires.
* Airfree - air sterilizer (exports to 52 countries)
* Cargo hold cover for bulk ships allowing cargo loading/unloading in rainy weather (will be available in 2015).
