Co-founder and Creative Partner of A Equipa – Branding and Communications since 2013, Mario has about 30 years of experience in working with creativity and assures that has been having fun for the same amount of time. Such amused professional life began in an advertising agency in São Paulo, where he found out that graphic design was his real endowment and so decided to take a second degree on this subject. He arrived in California when the Mac Classic where not classic at all, but state of the art of desktop publishing and so he worked at the graphic department of Esprit de Corp. In 1988 he found Portugal as the best place to be and since then he has been enjoying creating and managing major local and international brands as Creative Director of Massa Cinzenta, Novodesign, Maisdesign and Brandia Central. He rejoices the opportunity of directing many of the most talented professionals; happy to have spent twelve years leading the Art Directors Club of Portugal, chairing the Art Directors Club of Europe at the same time. Besides he regularly publishes articles, gives lectures and master classes in creative business and brand thinking. His experience in creative festivals includes chairing judges and judging in Portugal, Spain, UK, Brazil, Argentina, Czech Republic, Estonia, Slovenia and even Belarus.
