Bjoern is the 27 years old founder of the Startup Genome. His personal passion or “leitmotif” is: unleashing human potential.
The company serves tens of thousands of businesses around the world and is backed by prominent investors.
Since its inception Startup Genome has released a number of well regarded reports on the startup lifecycle, success & failure of startups and startup ecosystems that have been adopted into the curriculum of more than 100 universities worldwide. In late 2011 they released the Startup Compass, which helps SME’s to allocate their resources inexpensively.
Before Bjoern founded and led four ventures in Germany, Bangladesh & the US. He also worked as an executive in Russia for a mid sized marketing company. His higher purpose is to strive to maximize the capitalization of every single individual.
In his free time he speaks at conferences to pass on his lessons learned as an entrepreneur. He also runs the local bay area community of Sandbox – a global network of young change makers.
